What a fantastic international city! Leaving Hong Kong feels a bit sad.
What a great trip! Lots accomplished as far as for future trips. I am more familiar with Hong Kong than ever before!
Although it has been a fleeting 10 days it has felt very restful. Though the week in China was challenging I know the time in Hong Kong helped immensely because we felt we could relax a bit and be on our own time and agenda. Kristen let me practice finding my way around and leading. The subway is the most challenging. However I am learning to keep an eye on the signs. The crowds and the pace can be overwhelming. It is not that they are in such a hurry as much as it is the are all purposeful and going somewhere. And there are so very many people!
It was surprising to see in Hong Kong the celebration of Easter even more than in the USA. The signs on the street and in the malls with rabbits everywhere. The Easter camps at the YMCA were intriguing...open to the public. Very interesting!
I am excited to be home but am already thinking about returning in the summer with the English teaching team!
Thanks for your prayers and support! We so value your partnership!
