What an awesome privilege to serve with Indian Creek and Project Partner's team: Cameron, Jordan, Ellie and Kristen had all traveled to China to teach English as a Second Language once before, so I was the rookie! What a joy to leave on July 28 and return on August 16! I am extremely grateful! What a chance to live out His love!
Since we had limited access to the internet, I didn't have the opportunity to journal on my blog while there so I will take a few days and do it here. Come along and go to China with me.
Fresh off of the last leg, 15+ hours plane ride, we couldn't wait to explore Hong Kong Harbor! So off we went following our fearless leader!
Kristen was born to do this and she does it well. Having traveled to Hong Kong 11 times she has learned her way around! What a thrill it is as a mother to see her in action!
Tea Eggs are good for a snack, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Since we are here as tourist we set out to do a little sightseeing the next morning! Hong Kong is not just one island! It consists of four different levels!
We rode a tram to the highest point on Hong Kong Island, Victoria's Peak to experience the spectacular panaramic view of the area!
